2008 Hill Climb Results Sheet

Congratulations to Bill Bell for winning the event for the second year in a row. Only a second slower than the previous year too. Well done to all of the other prize winners and to all who braved such a lousy morning.

Preston Time TriallingWith the racing season nearing the halfway point, club members have been turning out some good perfomances. Preston Anderson has already recorded 22m 08s twice in a 10m T.T. this year but is still hoping for a quicker time. His main rival for the 10mile cup Richard Masters had to be content with a time 22m 39s in the V.C.ELAN event on the Thanet Way. In the same race on the 26m June Graham Strugnell recorded 24m 44s, John Booty 26m 05s and Clin Maisey 27m 26s. A week earlier Graham had finished in 24m 37s and Clin in 26m 42s.
